چکیده
Climate change and accelerated rates in sea-level rise are expected to increase flooding erosion on the world's coastlines. Coastal managers planners face challenge of helping communities adapt changing coast. Traditionally hard engineering has been used defend coast, but as this option becomes unsustainable financially unviable, coastal increasingly employing planning policy mitigate risk posed by change. Zonation areas delineation extents, such set-back lines, globally restrict development zone. In England there is place allow authorities certain be affected This study aims examine how have implemented adaptation policies, specifically Change Management Areas (CCMA). Social vulnerability of small scale coastal fisher's livelihood to climate change
Fisheries support livelihood of over half a billion of people globally. Many of these people live in coastal regions of developing countries; and have limited capacity to adapt and build resilience in the face of climate change. This research assesses the biophysical and socioeconomic characteristics of fishers in four coastal communities, Komenda, Elmina, Cape coast and Morree, in Ghana. Stru...

This work focuses on assessing costs and effectiveness of climate adaptation strategies for existing reinforced concrete structures subject to chloride penetration and climate change. We will study on existing reinforced concrete structures built in France at different years under different building codes. Concerning environmental actions, we considered historical meteorological data and two cl...
